Health officials today (Wednesday 25 March) reported another two persons, both with travel history, have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

Therefore, the Cayman Islands Government has issued a 24-hour nation-wide lock down to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus. 

We fully support the actions taken by the Government and we hope that all our readers appreciate the measures the Government are taking to protect the health of all of the residents of Cayman.

We would remind you that as of 7pm tonight no-one is to be outside of their home/yard until 5am Saturday morning.  The penalty for failing to comply with this order is CI$3,000.00 and/or imprisonment to 1 year.
