The Labyrinth

Firstly the Cayman Islands National Gallery is looking for assistance with an exciting project installing a labyrinth in the Gallery gardens.

The professional labyrinth makers are looking for volunteers to assist on the following days:

8 January

9 January

10 January

11 January

12 January

The work will be physical and outdoors.

The Labyrinth makers would prefer those who can commit to at least one full day (9am -6pm) for consistency and training.

The Exhibition Hall

Secondly, the National Gallery are looking for those who are interested in manning the reception of our Exhibition Hall.

This entails taking a regular morning or afternoon spot or two each week and welcoming visitors to the Gallery, distributing information about the Exhibitions and assisting with gift shop purchases and helping visitors with any enquiries.

The National Gallery is most fortunate to have sponsors Stuart and Diane Siebens to enable the first Labyrinth in the Cayman Islands, which is to be located in our beautiful Gardens.

We would like to invite the public to a lecture by expert Labyrinth makers, Chuck Hunner, Martin Kermeen and Debra Kermeen.  Between them this team has some 38 years experience and are here from the U.S. to install the Labyrinth at the National Gallery. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about the facinating subject of the Labyrinth.
