Willard Marriott Award of Excellence, prestigious awards bestowed to top employees across the brand for exemplifying outstanding performance and demonstrating service excellence.

As a seasoned culinary professional, Frederic joined The Ritz-Carlton family in 1995 and has served as Executive Chef of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman since 2008. Today Frederic supervises a $30 million (USD) Food and Beverage operation, which includes more than 100 Ladies and Gentlemen, five restaurants, and the Banquet and In Room Dining operations for the award-winning resort in the Cayman Islands.
Frederic deeply embraces The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards ensuring that the culture is enlivened within his team. He attributes his success to the pride he takes in developing leaders and culinary professionals, and with Frederic’s mentorship more than 10 of his team members throughout his tenure have been promoted to Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef positions around the world.
Frederic is not only committed to helping his team but is also focused on improving the local Grand Cayman community. He spearheads “Out of the Kitchen,” where he works with the Cayman Islands Culinary Society to raise funds for scholarships that allow young Caymanian students to pursue their dreams within the culinary arts. He also volunteers annually with the Culinary Youth Camp, where he works with young adults in developing a culinary trade. Frederic inspires and encourages dreams for Caymanian students, a true gift to the community.
