The Tom Proctor Band Launches National Suicide Prevention Campaign at Concert in Provo, Utah

Celebrities and dignitaries will be gathering in Nashville in September to launch a national campaign for Suicide Awareness and Prevention. At the center and frontstage of the coast to coast
campaign is Tom Proctor, Grand Marshall for a motorcycle ride from Nashville to the West Coast. He is accompanied by Roger J. Piggott, the Chairman of the national motorcycle ride for The Stars Foundation.
Tom Proctor was recently elected to the Board of Directors for The Stars Foundation, and has committed to be Grand Marshall for the Ride for Life Across America, a Veterans Suicide and Prevention, a caravan ride Across America during the month of September, which is National Suicide Prevention Month.
Tom Proctor has an illustrious career in acting and doing stunt work in the LA area appearing in over 100 movies. Tom’s distinguished roles were in Lawless, Justified, the role of Biddee in 12 Years a Slave, Django Unchained, Looper, Touched by an Angel and the role of Horuz in Guardians of the Galaxy. He normally plays the menacing character that exemplifies toughness. However, in real life he has a heart of gold and a passion to help others. He is especially touched deeply by the loss of two friends recently to suicide, and takes this mantle on to keep their memories alive as well. He is so passionate about the cause, that he has joined in with The Stars Foundation and Roger Piggott for the national ride across America to spread the message,” You Are Worthy”, giving them hope and an emergency call number 988 for a lifeline at their greatest hour of need.
On June 24, in Provo, Utah, Tom will begin his campaign to advocate for those heroes who have served our country so well, and have sacrificed all. Tom and the Tom Proctor Band will rock the house at Covey Center for the Arts at 7:30 PM for a 2 hour show. This is a concert that patriots in the Provo, Utah area who love their servicemen will want to attend!
Cost of the tickets are $20.00. Wristbands with the 988 hotline number will be given out and donors of more than $20.00 at the RIDE FOR LIFE TABLE for The Stars Foundation can receive a 3 day/2 night stay travel voucher good at over 13 tourist destinations.

In 2021, research found that 30,177 veterans and servicemen after 9/11 have died by suicide, compared to the 7,071 dying by combat during the same time period. That is 4 times more die by suicide than by combat!
Iceman Extreme Sports, feature channel on Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire, along with NRB TV, will showcase highlights of the concert on the Patriot Nation television series, which is scheduled for broadcast in 3rd quarter 2023.
