The world best culinary competition takes the global stage with 27 finalists from around the world!
November 2024: Singapore will Hosts the 2024 World Young Chef Young Waiter and Young Mixologists (YYY) World Finals, welcoming 27 finalists from across the globe. Hosted by the esteemed At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy on Sunday 24th November 2024, this prestigious event will showcase 27 finalists, including nine Young Chefs, nine Young Waiters, and nine Young Mixologists, each aged 28 and under, from nine participating countries. The competition will culminate with the crowning of a world champion chef, waiter, and mixologist, each winning a prize of $15,000 USD.
For the first time, Singapore will host the YYY World finals, following its victory as the 2023 World Champions. The Finals will kick off with an Opening Ceremony on November 22nd at the Pullman Hill Street Oculus. This celebration, known as the “Hospitality Olympics,” will feature a vibrant flag-waving ceremony, all the diverse cultures through a shared passion for culinary arts. Finalists, judges, organisers, and guests will celebrate over NEFT Vodka cocktails and Champagne PIAFF, setting the stage for an unforgettable event.
The 2024 WorldYYY Finalists:
The WorldYYY live final competition will present a unique challenge for each team, who will create an exquisite dining experience from start to finish. In a simulated restaurant setting, chefs, waiters, and mixologists will collaborate seamlessly to deliver a perfectly paired menu, exceptional service, and inventive cocktails. VIP guests will enjoy a Champagne PIAFF reception, matched wines, and a dynamic showcase of skill, precision, and creativity. After the competition a grand Awards Ceremony at The Exchange in Singapore will take place, where the 2024 World Champions will be announced.

Finalists will be judged by a panel of esteemed culinary experts, food critics, and industry leaders including Dave Pynt, Kirk Westaway, Paul Longworth, Angela May, Gibran Bayoun, Andy Downton, Rob Edwards, Ryan Clift, Luke Barr, Paul Robinson, and Julian Burgur.
The competition promises a thrilling display of culinary expertise, creativity, and professionalism. The World Young Chef Young Waiter and World Young Mixologist finals celebrate the talent and dedication of young professionals but also serve as a platform to inspire future generations to pursue careers in the culinary arts and hospitality.

Today, with its new revitalised format Young Chef Young Waiter continues to honour the next culinary and service stars globally. World Young Chef Young Waiter, in partnership with Great Campaign UK and Northern Ireland and the Culinary Institute of America, mission to discover the best young talents in the industry.
