This shaving startup might be the answer to preventing razor bumps completely

Companies that make fancy multi-blade contouring razors and high-tech electric razors have conditioned many men into thinking they can achieve a closer, smoother, or easier shave by spending big bucks — but that’s not the case at all. Single blade razors are actually a better way to for two main reason: they provided excellent shaves without razor bumps and are far more affordable.
Single blade razors are starting to make a come back, but for plenty of guys, the fixed blade from their grandpa’s razor has scared them away from trying it. Well, now there’s finally a solution: The Supply Single Edge Razor.

In the past, I’ve been able to achieve super smooth shaves with multi-blade razors, but dreadful razor bumps usually follow after a day or so when hairs start to grow back. I quickly got the hang of the Supply Single Edge Razor and enjoyed using it, but it officially passed my test when I didn’t get any razor bumps over the next few days.
One thing I really appreciate about the razor is that you have the ability to switch between three settings — the standard Classic, Mild for sensitive skin and shorter hair, and Aggressive for not so sensitive skin and longer hair. I used the Mild setting and still got a smooth shave, which further proved the point that four or five blades aren’t needed for a close shave.
For the shaving cream and post shave, I went with the Arenella Coast scent. It uses a fusion of bergamot, oakmoss, and cedar essential oils. The brand describes the fragrance as being reminiscent of “a stroll down the coastline of Protovenere, a dreamy Italian town perched on the Gulf of Poets’ western promontory.” I’m not an aromatics expert, nor have I been to Italy, but I would describe it as a refreshingly natural smell that’s not overbearing like most artificial shaving creams. I like the post shave a lot because gives a soothing feeling and doesn’t burn like most products do after a multi-blade shave.
In addition to providing the perfect shave, the Single Edge design will save you money. If you’ve ever wondered why replacement razors or shaving subscription boxes are so expensive, it’s because you’re paying for extra blades you don’t really need. The injector-style single blade is thicker, sharper, built better than any multi-blade design, and subsequently lasts longer. The included 20-pack is enough to last six months, and when you do run out, you can buy another 20-pack for just $10. You could easily spend the same amount on a monthly basis with most subscription services.
