On Tuesday 18th April TINA – The Tina Turner Musical celebrated five years in the West End! Presented in association with Tina Turner herself, the 12 — time Grammy Award winning artist, TINA is proud to have been sharing the story of the global Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll since 2018.
The musical’s story, however began even before this in 2016, when Tina Turner travelled to London for the first ever workshop presentation of the show. Since then, TINA has risen to critical acclaim and has been performed in London’s West End almost 1,500 times as well as in 23 cities across the globe and in four different languages.
To celebrate this exceptional West End achievement,TINA hosted an anniversary performance in special partnership with Women’s Aid. Former Olympian and domestic violence survivor, Michelle Griffith-Robinson spoke on behalf of Women’s Aid as part of the charity’s commitment to working together to end domestic abuse against women and children.
