Three-time Olympic medallist Novlene Williams-Mills, Ristananna Tracey and Jowayne Hibbert secured the Jamaican victories at the Cayman Invitational meet last night at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex.

The 32-year-old Williams-Mills led home a Jamaica one-two finish in the Women’s 400 metres.

Mills easily won in 50.26 seconds ahead of Bobby-Gay Wilkens-Gooden who clocked 52.93.

World Championships semi-finalist Tracey clocked 55.19 seconds to win the Women’s 400-metre hurdles.

American Tiffany Williams was second in 55.41.

The other Jamaicans – Shevon Stoddart finished third in 55.59; Nickiesha Wilson, fifth, in 56.35 and Rushell Clayton, sixth, in 57.39.

Hibbert won the Men’s 800 metres in one minute 49.69 seconds to beat Trinidadian Jamaal James, who clocked one minute 49.75.

The other Jamaican – Ricardo Cunningham – finished third in 1:50.12 seconds.

Meanwhile, Jamaica’s two-time Olympic 200-metre champion Veronica Campbell-Brown had to settle for fourth in the Women’s 100 metres.

In her first outdoor appearance since being cleared of doping, the seven-time Olympian clocked 11.27 seconds to finish well behind the American Jeneba Tarmoh, who won in 11.14.

Muriel Ahoure of the Ivory Coast took second place in 11.15 seconds.

Jamaica’s Dexter Lee, 10.32 seconds, was fourth in the Men’s 100 metres which was won by veteran St Kitts and Nevis athlete Kim Collins in 10.22.
