Traffic operations conducted on Cayman Brac last weekend, 22-24 July
From RCIPS
This past weekend, from Friday, 22 July through Sunday, 24 July, several traffic operations were conducted on Cayman Brac at different locations around the island. Thirty-six tickets were issued for traffic offences such as failing to wear seatbelts and overhanging loads. There were no DUI arrests.
Altogether, 131 vehicles were stopped and checked throughout the three days, and traffic officers found that every one of these vehicles were licensed, inspected and insured.
Officers reported that members of the public thanked the officers for the enforcement operations. Such operations will continue on a periodic basis to bolster enforcement efforts on Cayman Brac.
