TT Under-15 Footballers end Cayman Tournament on a high by thrashing the hosts
Despite finishing outside of the big-four, Trinidad and Tobago’s National Under 15 boys ended their campaign at the Cayman Airways Invitational with a 6-0 victory over the hosts nation last evening.
The win was T&T’s first and only one in their four games after previously drawing 2-2 with Manchester City and 1-1 with DC United, while losing 3-1 to the Houston Dynamo which ended their hopes of advancing to the semi-finals.

Jean Heim McFee led the onslaught with a pair of goals in the 4th and 10th minutes, after Micai Peters opened the scoring in the 2nd minute.
Josiah Edward struck his third goal of the tournament, to put T&T 3-0 ahead in the 7th minute.
An own goal saw T&T take a 5-0 lead on 52 minutes before Ezekiel Kesar struck two minutes later to complete a 6-0 scoreline, which pleased coach Russell Latapy, who felt they had shown improvement in different areas with each match, and showed areas they needed to work on going forward.
The team will now focus on preparing for the 2017 CONCACAF Under-15 Championships from August 13-19th at IMG’s world-renowned campus in Bradenton, Florida.
