At About 11:56pm on Saturday June 9th 2012, Officers of the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service attended the scene of a two vehicle collision that occurred at the junction of Crewe Road and Smith Road in George Town.

The collision occurred when a Mitsubishi motor car, travelling west along Crewe Road, made a right turn in the vicinity of Crewe Road and Smith Road junction; when the vehicle collided with a motor cycle which was heading east coming from Smith Road direction.

Both persons on the motor cycle were conveyed to the Cayman Islands Hospital where their condition was listed as serious. The driver of the car sustained no injuries.

The police is appealing for any witnesses that may have been in the area at that time of the collision. Persons are being asked to call George Town Police Station at 9494222.
