It is with much sadness to announce the deaths of Arthur Hunter and Donnie Smith.

Mr. Hunter died after a short illness whilst being cared for at Health City Cayman Islands.  He was 82 years of age at his passing.

Mr. Hunter was an attorney-at-law and  a partner, along with his father, of the law firm, Hunter & Hunter. The law firm was later taken over by Appleby Ltd.

Mr. Smith, real name, Donovan, died unexpectedly last Saturday at the age of 67. He was  born in Jamaica and married to Caymanian Jacqui Tomlinson after coming to the Cayman Islands. He owned Temptations and Pacesetter and was also in the entertainment businesses.

Both Mr. Hunter and Mr. Smith ‘dabbled’ in local politics.
