UK: Northamptonshire and Dorset lead the way with the strongest homebuyer demand in Q3

he latest look at homebuyer demand levels by GetAgent.co.uk has found that: –
– Across England, average buyer demand for Q3 2021 sat at 64.7%.
– Nowhere in England was homebuyer demand stronger than in Northamptonshire where on average 75.3% of homes on the market were snapped up by homebuyers.
– In Dorset, demand during Q3 averaged 74%, while in Suffolk (73.8%), Wiltshire (73.7%) and Somerset (73.6%) also ranked amongst the hottest spots of the property market.
– In fact, of the 49 English counties analysed within the data, 36 experienced homebuyer demand sit above and beyond the national average during Q3.
– Furthermore, of the 13 counties where demand did lag behind the national average, only two dropped below 50%. They were the City of London where Q3 demand averaged 22.4%, and Greater London where demand averaged 44.2%, while Oxfordshire was home to the third-lowest demand level at 58%.

Northamptonshire and Dorset lead the way with the strongest homebuyer demand in Q3
The latest Homebuyer Hotspots Demand Index by the estate agent comparison site, GetAgent.co.uk, has revealed where England’s strongest homebuyer demand hotspots are for Q3 2021.
GetAgent’s Hotspots Demand Index monitors homebuyer demand across England on a quarterly basis, using market data from the major property portals. Current demand is based on the proportion of stock listed as already sold (sold subject to contract or under offer) as a percentage of all stock listed for sale. E.g, if 100 homes are listed and 50 are already sold, the demand score would be 50%.
Across England, average buyer demand for Q3 2021 sat at 64.7%, as the final stint of the stamp duty holiday continued to spur an increased level of market activity.
Nowhere in England was homebuyer demand stronger than in Northamptonshire where on average 75.3% of homes on the market were snapped up by homebuyers.
