UPDATE: Cayman: Woman Charged For George Town Murder

The woman, age 33 of Bodden Town, who was arrested in relation to the murder which took place on Sunday, 23 March, on Mary Street in George Town, has been formally charged with Murder. She has been remanded in custody to appear in Grand Court on Friday, 4 April.

Police Arrest Woman in Relation to Murder in George Town, 23 March
Shortly after 4:20AM this morning, Sunday 23 March, police responded to a report of a murder at a location on Mary Street, George Town.
On arrival at the scene officers observed a body located behind a building. A police cordon was put in place while officers carried out their investigations.
Police can confirm the deceased is Lincoln Silburn, a 63-year-old man of George Town. RCIPS express condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
Police have arrested a 33-year-old woman of Bodden Town on Suspicion of Murder.
Detectives are investigating the matter. As an added precaution the community can expect to see increased police presence, including patrols in the vicinity.
Investigators are encouraging witnesses to come forward and assist with the investigation. If anyone was a witness to this incident or has any information about the incident, police encourage persons to contact 911, or the RCIPS Major Incident Room (MIR) on 649-2930.
