UPDATE: Man Charged Following Recovery of Cocaine

Update (19 February):
A man, age 29 of George Town, who was arrested on Thursday, 15 February, has been formally charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Supply. The charges relate to an operation on Wednesday, 3 January, where a quantity of cocaine was recovered at a private residential complex in the vicinity of Walkers Road. The man had also removed an electronic monitoring tag prior to his arrest, and refused to provide a specimen of urine when requested to do so. As such, he was also charged with Damage to Property and Failing to Provide a Specimen of Urine.
He appears in court today, 19 February.
Initial Release (4 January):
At around 5:30PM, Wednesday 3 January, police recovered a large quantity of drugs, suspected to be cocaine, from a communal area of a private residential complex in the vicinity of Walkers Road, George Town.
Investigations continue. Police request that anyone with information relating to this matter contact 9-1-1, or the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
