UPDATE: Man Charged with Attempted Robbery Following North Side Incident

The man, age 22 of Bodden Town, who was arrested on 28 May, following an attempted robbery and altercation at an address in North Side, has been formally charged with Attempted Robbery, Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm, and Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm (Ammunition).
He has also been charged with two counts each of Burglary and Handling Stolen Goods, in relation to two other unrelated incidents in North Side.
He appears in court today, 3 June.
Initial Release (28 May):
At around 1:30PM today, police responded to a report of shots fired in the vicinity of North Side Road, North Side.
Police are currently on the scene and have arrested one man, and seized a firearm. Initial enquiries indicate the incident was the result of an attempted robbery which led to an altercation.
The arrested man received minor injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment. One other man involved also received a minor injury and was attended to by medical staff on the scene.
It appears that shots were fired during the incident, however no persons were shot.
The matter is currently under investigation.
