Elijah Downs who was reported missing today, Wednesday 2 April, has been located and appears to be in good health.

Police Seek Public Assistance in Locating Missing Juvenile, 2 April

Police are currently actively searching for a vulnerable member of the community that was reported missing.  He is Elijah Downs, an 8-year-old male, who was last seen leaving his home in Newlands around 3:40PM, today, Wednesday 2 April.  

Elijah was last seen wearing a dark grey shirt, dark blue shorts and black shoes.  He is of solid build with short dark hair, and of light brown complexion.  An image of him is included.  He is known to visit the Windsor Park area.

The RCIPS helicopter was deployed to assist with the search, and officers are actively looking for the child.  The police ask members of the community to please report any sightings of Elijah to the police immediately, via 911.
