Further to the below, the female juvenile pedestrian that was involved in the motor vehicle collision was treated at the hospital and released. She is believed to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Just before 9:30Pm on Saturday 6th July, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
It was reported that a vehicle collided with a pedestrian on the Esterly Tibbetts Highway in the vicinity of the Island Heritage Roundabout. The pedestrian is a female juvenile who is believed to have sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. No other persons reported injuries pertaining to this incident.
Police are currently on scene carrying out investigations and anyone with information is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
