#2 Third Man Identified as Xavier Watson

Police now have new information identifying the third man wanted in relation to the drug boat seizure in Cayman Brac.

Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for Xavier Watson, who is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Armed officers are actively looking for Mr Watson.  If members of the public see Mr Watson, do not approach him, instead call 911 immediately to report his whereabouts.

#1 Police Continue Search for Outstanding Man in Cayman Brac

Police are still actively looking for the third outstanding man wanted in relation to the drug boat seizure. 

The police now have reason to believe that this man may be armed.  The police are advising the community to not approach the individual.  If this man is seen, or any person acting suspiciously, contact 911 immediately.

The RCIPS is maintaining a team of armed officers on the Brac, from Grand Cayman.  Support on the ground is also being provided by officers from CBC and DoE.

The man is described as short and slim, with dark complexion, short dread locks.

UPDATE: Second Man Arrested in Relation to Drug Boat Seizure on Cayman Brac

A second man has been arrested in relation to the drug boat seizure on Cayman Brac, which took place earlier this morning, Thursday 22 August.

A third man remains outstanding.

Police remind the Brac community to remain vigilant. If anyone sees any suspicious persons please contact the police immediately via 911 or the Brac Station directly on 948-0331.  Police also advise boat owners in the Sister Islands to ensure they secure their vessels.

22 August:

RCIPS are currently on the scene in Cayman Brac, investigating the recovery of a boat and drugs from a beach in the south side area.

A quantity of drugs and the boat have been secured by police.  One man has been located and apprehended and is currently being held in custody. 

Police are currently searching for two outstanding men, with support from local CBC and DoE officers.  Additional support has been provided from Grand Cayman, including RCIPS Air Ops Unit and the Cayman Islands Coast Guard.

One man is described as of medium height, with dark complexion, short dread lock hair style, bare footed and wearing a black shirt.  

If anyone sees any suspicious persons in the Brac community please contact the police immediately via 911 or the Brac Station directly on 948-0331.
