US: Hunter Biden invited to teach University course on fake news

Tulane University has invited Hunter Biden to be a guest speaker as part of a 10-week course on media relations that will be offered in the Fall semester, Fox News reported Wednesday.
The course, called “Media Polarization and Public Policy Impacts,” focuses on “the current state of the media landscape in the United States and how media polarization, fake news, and the economics of the news business impact public policymaking in Washington, DC,” according to the syllabus.
Professors Mitchell Sellers and Andrew Schwartz will lead the course, but the class includes a list of guest speakers. The president’s son tops the guest speakers mentioned in the syllabus, but has no job title listed, as do all the others, The Sara Carter Show pointed out.
Other guest speakers for the course include former White House Coronavirus Task Force member Dr. Deborah Birx, New Yorker columnist Susan Glasser, Washington Post media columnist Margaret Sullivan, New York Times columnist Bret Stephens, CBS’s “Face The Nation” moderator Margaret Brennan, CNN correspondent Kylie Atwood, and Fox News political analyst and “The Five” co-host Juan Williams, according to Fox.
Hunter Biden raised further controversy in recent weeks while promoting the launch of his memoir, saying that the laptop computer that made headlines in the final weeks of the 2020 presidential election “could” be his and that it “could” have been stolen.
The laptop became a divisive political topic in October after the New York Post published reports based on information from the laptop, which intensifed allegations of unethical foreign business dealings by Hunter Biden while his father served as vice president, Fox reported.
However, the story received relatively limited exposure, as social media giants and members of the mainstream media made efforts to minimize it and gave the story limited press.
Only after his father won the 2020 presidential election did Hunter Biden disclose that he was under federal investigation.
