A Yale University classmate of Brett Kavanaugh will not talk to the Senate Judiciary Committee about her charges of sexual misconduct against the Supreme Court nominee, The Washington Times reported.

Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., told reporters a lawyer for Deborah Ramirez said she has already told her story to The New Yorker. Ramirez has alleged Kavanaugh exposed himself, touching her face with his genitals, at a boozy party decades ago. He has denied the claim.

“Our counsel repeatedly tried to reach” Ramirez’s lawyer, Kennedy said, The Washington Times reported. “They finally did reach him, and he said we are not issuing a statement. He said if you want our statement, read The New Yorker.”

Meanwhile, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said she could not guarantee Christine Blasey Ford will appear before the Senate panel Thursday as previously agreed.

“I have no way of knowing,” Feinstein told Fox News.

Ford’s lawyer, Michael Bromwich, railed Tuesday about Republicans hiring outside counsel to question Ford at the Thursday hearing, Fox News reported. Ford had agreed to be questioned by panel members.

Feinstein also blew up over the panel’s intent to vote Friday on the Kavanaugh confirmation, and then send it to the full Senate for a final vote.

“For Republicans to schedule a Friday vote on Brett Kavanaugh [on Tuesday], two days before Dr. Blasey Ford has had a chance to tell her story, is outrageous,” she tweeted. “First Republicans demanded Dr. Blasey Ford testify immediately. Now Republicans don’t even need to hear her before they move ahead with a vote.”
