Fatal road crash – Victim named
The man who died following a road crash on Seaview Road East End on Saturday, 10th August, can be named as Deutron Dawson Linwood, aged 26 years.
The driver of the motor car, a 19-year-old male, remains in the Cayman Islands Hospital in a critical condition.
A police enquiry into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing. Anyone who was in the area around 01.30am on Saturday 10thAugust and witnessed the crash, or has any information which could assist the investigation, is asked to contact the Bodden Town Police Station on 947-2220.

Around 0135 hrs on the 8/10/13 ,911 received a report that a Blue Honda Inspire had crashed into the sea wall in the vicinity of Eastland Drive, East End. On the arrival of Emergency Services, the Driver a 19 yr old male was found trapped inside the vehicle but was able to move his upper body. The passenger, a 26 yr old male was ejected from the vehicle as result of the accident.
Both men were transported to the hospital. The passenger was pronounced DOA at the hospital and the driver remains in critical condition.
The Investigation into the accident is ongoing by the Police.
Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is urged to call the Bodden Town Police Station at 947-2220.

“Police are investigating a serious crash in East End.Officials tell Cayman 27 two people were in a vehicle that crashed into a stonewall fence near the East End Primary School around 1:35 a.m. Saturday (10 August).
