Staff of the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (DOT) teamed up with the Disney Cruise Line VoluntEARS on Tuesday, 13 December 2011 to bring the joy of Christmas to the students of Miss Nadine’s Pre-School and the Lighthouse School. An annual event, this is a part of Disney’s efforts to be a good corporate citizen and neighbor.

Infants and toddlers at Miss Nadine’s Pre-School were delighted by surprise Disney guests Mickey Mouse, Daffy Duck, Goofy and Stitch.   Each child was presented with receive mini beanbag plush from “101 Dalmatians.”

The students at the Lighthouse School were elated to meet the characters as well, dancing and chatting with them. Each student was presented with a “Cars 2” Read Along Storybooks.
