SINGAPORE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Leading international law firm Walkers has celebrated its fifth anniversary in Singapore, with a Caribbean themed event.

Over 300 clients joined Walkers for this special occasion to enjoy the food, drink and entertainment inspired by the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands legal services that Walkers has provided in Singapore since 2009, with a focus on investment funds, private equity, cross-border financing work, trusts, insolvency, restructuring and litigation.

Since opening for business in the city state to provide a regional hub for clients in South East Asia, Walkers has significantly expanded its team to 11 lawyers, making it the largest offshore law firm by some distance in Singapore.

Walkers’ Fifth Anniversary party in Singapore followed another recent regional milestone for the firm, with the Hong Kong office celebrating its first ten years in Asia in September 2013. A team from Walkers’ Hong Kong office was also in attendance at the Singapore event, which was held at Zafferano’s on May 29th 2014.
