The Water Authority Board recently approved a donation of $4,500.00, to assist KYSTAR Athletics in their 3rd Annual Cayman Invitational Track Meet. The event will take place at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex on 7 May 2014. With last years event being such a success the promoters are positive that the event will have an even greater turnout this year. Through the full support of the North American Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association, the CI Government, the CI Athletic Association and many generous sponsors, the 2014 Cayman Invitational is sure to attract some of the world’s best athletes along with many thousands of spectators.

International Youth Football Tournament

Water Authority-Cayman is proud to be a Gold Sponsor for the International Youth Football Tournament recently held by Grasspiece Promotions at the Annex Field in George Town. The week-long tournament included two visiting teams; Swindon Town FC Youth Academy from the UK and the Houston Dynamo Youth Academy from the US, along with the local CI Youth National team. To add to the tournament the coaches conducted training sessions and coaching clinics with local players, coaches, team managers and physiotherapists alike. With such an excellent turn out, the promoters are hoping to repeat the event next year.
