Josh Parsons

We’re excited to announce Josh Parsons as the newest addition to the People’s Progressive Movement (PPM) team—a dynamic leader bringing fresh energy, bold ideas, and a deep commitment to the Cayman Islands.

Josh will be appointed as a Caretaker ‘Candidate’ for the Savannah Constituency, where the PPM has no elected member.

Born, raised and planning to run in Savannah, Josh embodies the values of hard work and unity that define our Caymanian community. Frustrated by politics as usual, he’s stepping forward to break the cycle of “same old, same old.” A father of five and a seasoned professional with experience in banking, telecommunications, and energy, Josh is ready to tackle the challenges we face and deliver meaningful change for Caymanian families.

“Change starts with one person willing to stand up and act,” Josh says. “It’s time to get back to uniting our country and focusing on solutions that lift everyone. The Cayman Islands deserves leadership that listens, takes responsibility, and empowers people to succeed.

At the Party Conference early next year, he is anticipated to be put forward to the conference as the PPM’s candidate for Savannah for the General election.

Josh’s prospective candidacy reflects the ongoing evolution of our movement—building on the PPM’s strong foundation of competence and a deep love for Cayman while bringing fresh perspectives to tackle the challenges ahead.

Josh Parsons is the first in a series of announcements introducing a strong slate of new and experienced PPM representatives who bring the energy, vision, and love of the country needed to deliver bold change for the Cayman Islands.
