Following our successful Boot Camp #1, we are pleased to attach a flyer relating to the Women’s 7s Rugby Squad Boot Camp #2, part of our continuing programme of recruitment and training geared towards qualifying for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The free Training Boot Camp #2, due to take place at 2 pm on Sunday 29th September 2013 at the Rugby Club in South Sound, is another exceptional opportunity for any ambitious female sportsperson to come and learn about rugby as a sport, and to be trained by a select group of experienced IRB qualified coaches, an international strength and conditioning coach, with video analysis and Men’s National Squad player demonstrations.

While qualifying for the 2016 Olympic Games Rugby is the main focus and long term goal of the Women’s 7s Rugby Squad, rugby will also be a competitive sport at the following international tournaments:

•           The Annual North American and Caribbean Regional Championships;

•           The 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz;

•           The 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing;

•           The 2015 Pan-American Games in Toronto;

•           The 2015 Islands Games in Jersey; and

•           The 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games in Apia;

NO RUGBY EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY – Just bring sports clothing, training shoes, enthusiasm, energy and commitment!
