The victim in the crash can now be identified as Chris Ollen McLaughlin, age 30, of East End.

The Sea View Road has now been reopened.
Motorist are asked to exercise caution as utility repairs are still ongoing in the area.

Shortly after 1130pm last night Friday 11/3/16 police and other emergency services responded to a serious motor vehicle collision involving a single motorcar in the area of the Blow Holes, East End.
The accident occurred when the Toyota motorcar left the road and collided with a CUC pole. On arrival the unaccompanied driver was unresponsive and had to be removed by the Fire Department.
A 30 year old male of East End was taken to the GT Hospital but had succumbed to his injuries.
The motoring public is being diverted through Farm Road and Queens Hwy as the road will be blocked for several hours to allow for scene preservation and investigation.

Around 1130pm 11/3/16 police and other emergency services responded to a serious MVA involving one vehicle that struck a CUC pole near the blow holes in East End.
One male has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The motoring public is requested to divert through Farm Road and Queens Hwy as the road may be blocked for several hours to allow for scene preservation and investigation.
