Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands – Premier Hon. Alden McLaughlin met with members of the Cayman Islands Disability Policy Subcommittee Thursday, 23 January, 2014. Mr. McLaughlin thanked them for their work in helping the country develop a National Disability leading up to Disability legislation. The PPM Government sent a detailed report to the Legal Department before it left office in 2009, and some work followed by committees under previous administrations. The Progressives Government is pleased to see this process through. The law will support, promote and protect the interests of people with disabilities. Photo: Tammie C. Chisholm
