Wounding – Windsor Park
A man is being treated in hospital following a wounding in the Windsor Park area in the early hours of this morning.
About 3.30 am today, Thursday 21 June 2012, police received a report that a 34-year-old man had been admitted to the Cayman Islands Hospital in George Town suffering from a serious stab wound to his neck.
Enquiries revealed that the man had sustained his injuries while attending a large gathering in Hawkins Drive, Windsor Park. It is believed the incident took place around 3.15am.
The victim remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in attendance at the gathering and saw anything that could assist the enquiry to come forward. It is suggested that around 50 (fifty) people were in the area at the time.
