After 8:45 am each of seven groups of students move to classrooms and rotate through 25 minute hard-hitting presentations on Drugs, Guns, Gangs, Sexual Trauma, and Social Responsibility.
The participants will include Students, prison guards, RCIPS officers, counsellors, teachers.
This is the official pilot launch of Youth ACT. This non-profit organization has been created to develop and execute initiatives that will assist young people in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to make healthy decisions regarding the choices they make. The first initiative that we are piloting is a programme modeled after Prison Me No Way, a programme presently used in the UK.
