A premier event at the recent Cayman Islands Agricultural Show was the Youth Cook-Off featuring students from the Ministry of Tourism’s Tourism Apprentice Training Programme (TATP).

The students took part in a live ‘cook-off’ competition judged by H.E. the Governor, Duncan Taylor, Premier, Juliana O’Connor Conolly, AL Thompson, Roy Bodden, Joey Wood and Chris Parker, the Corporate Mercer Chef and head judge.

The event champions were team 2, Kimani Davis and Brittany Bodden along with their coach, Chef Niven Patel from the Brasserie.

2nd and 3rd placed teams were team 1, Carl Lewis, Ahmed Myles and Chef Thomas from Michael’s Genuine and team 3, Monique Connolly, Rochelle Conolly-Rose and Chef Maureen Cubbon who was the 2013 winner of the coveted Cayman-Cook-Off.
