Today, adidas introduces its 15-piece strong SS24 Paris Collection ahead of the 2024 clay season. Built to help players adapt to clay court conditions, the collection includes a core 8-piece range of apparel and footwear to help raise awareness of adidas’ annual Move For The Planet activation.

Designed to be played in seasonably warm Parisian temperatures, the collection features HEAT.RDY technology – breathable and lightweight fabrics that maximize airflow, to help keep players feel comfortable on court. Meanwhile increased mobility is unlocked thanks to adidas’ FreeLift Construction – a paneled fabric structure under the armpits – that enables greater freedom of arm movement during play while preventing the hems from riding up.

The pieces have been intentionally paired back, using zero prints to allow other bolder design features to make maximum impact, through striking color blocking, engineered paneling and textured fabrics. White and black panels on the garments emulate classic tennis court lines, highlighted by black bonding seams, meanwhile a stimulating Orange ‘Spark’ is used throughout to foster a sense of joyful energy for players during high-pressure games.

Elina Svitolina, 2023 quarter-finalist in Paris, commented: “Clay is always the most challenging surface to play on. With my baseline style of play, I need to be more dynamic on clay to allow for slipping on softer ground. During these high-intensity matches, it’s important to feel supported, the smallest distraction in the wrong moment can make or break a point.”

Hero pieces for women include the Tennis HEAT.RDY Y-Dress Pro, with an ergonomic Y-strap and shaped armholes for maximum mobility, the Tennis HEAT.RDY Cropped Long-Sleeve Pro, featuring mesh sleeve detailing, and the double-layered Tennis HEAT.RDY Short Pro. For men, hero pieces include the Tennis HEAT.RDY FreeLift Henley Pro, Tennis HEAT.RDY FreeLift T-Shirt Pro and Tennis HEAT.RDY Ergo Short Pro 7 Inch. The 15-piece apparel and footwear collection comes in sizes XS-2XL for men and 2XS-2XL for women.

Within the SS24 Paris Collection are two hero outfits for men and women that celebrate this year’s Move For The Planet* adidas initiative, consisting of six apparel and two footwear pieces. The 8-piece range includes the FreeLift Tee and Ergo Short for men, and the Match Tank and Match Short for women.

The collection premiers at one of the most prominent clay tournaments and will be worn by athletes including Caroline Wozniacki, Elina Svitolina, Xinyu Wang, Dana MathewsonJessica Pegula, Maria Sakkari, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Felix Auger Aliassime, Jason Wu andMartin de la Puente.

All pieces are available to buy at adidas.com and via the adidas app from April 1, 2024.
